The Domestic/ International Automation and Adjacent Market Program Team is seeking a Senior Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst to join a fast paced team within the Navigation and Modernization Solutions Mission Area. The position would be located in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, detail oriented individual who is interested in supporting and leading program control activities for a dynamic portfolio of programs.
The position is based locally, but supports a portfolio of customers around the world including customers in India, UAE, Hong Kong, Norway, and USA. The successful candidate will be an integral finance member working closely with each program to lead and influence all financial aspects of these programs including: new program start up, initiating and tracking bonds, control of cost and schedule, earned value management,assistance in preparation of monthly operating reviews, Estimates at Complete (EACs) and forecasting Bookings/Sales/Profit/Cash. The analyst will be exposed to both Domestic and International contracts, as well as multiple contract types and unique international terms and requirements. The candidate shall be comfortable working with cross functional organizations, working as part of a team, and all levels of management. The individual should be dedicated to continued process improvements and the building of efficiencies into all operational aspects of the program.
The Finance Program Control Analyst will be responsible for:- Leading the monthly program activities and working with the Program CAMS, Planners and Program Office, Contracts, and Supply chain to support these actions
- Creating, reviewing and submitting monthly forecasts and Earned value reporting internally and externally to the customer
- Developing the quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC)
- Ad Hoc support and monitoring
Required Skills: - 4 years of applicable experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Team player with strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- The ability to plan, schedule and arrange own activities to accomplish objectives, working independently with general direction
- Interpersonal and presentation skills, displays clear and concise communication
- Ability to quickly master Business Systems
- Understanding of concepts and techniques related to program controls; including, but are not limited to, earned value management, forecasting, strategic planning, variance analysis, and percentage of completion accounting
- Self-starter and highly motivated individual with a positive “can do” attitude with minimal supervision
- Ability to plan, schedule, and prioritize own activities to accomplish objectives
- Must be capable of multi-tasking while keeping attention to detail
Desired Skills: - Demonstrated experience in areas of Earned Value execution, and program control
- Ability to work cross functionally and with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements
- Proficiency in financial systems (APEX/PMX)
- Understanding of EVMS cost and schedule integration, and EAC process
Required Education:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
