Who You'll Work With

You will join one of our United States (U.S.) offices working with Aberkyn colleagues, McKinsey colleagues, and clients.You will help prepare leaders and guide their people through transformation journeys, design and facilitate personal transformations, help top teams become more effective, create scalable leadership-development programs, and provide executive coaching. You will also lead teams of Aberkyn facilitators on larger engagements.As an Aberkyn colleague, you’ll be part of a global community comprised of ~150 freelancers and full-time colleagues who have an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for having global impact by helping leaders grow themselves and their people, and a dedication to creating a nurturing learning community for the world’s best facilitators.Since November 2017, Aberkyn is a fully owned subsidiary of McKinsey & Co. Inc as one of the groups that make up McKinsey Accelerate.

What You'll Do

You will be part of the Aberkyn leadership team. Together with the McKinsey Accelerate and Aberkyn leadership, you will contribute to developing, growing and managing our U.S. hub.Your role contains three key elements: 1) developing and leading large-scale transformation programs at clients, together with Aberkyn and McKinsey client teams. Transformations might include M&A, thematic transformations, and C-suite changes. Topics of focus might include top team effectiveness, cultural transformation, leadership development and coaching. 2) exciting and leading the team of Aberkyn facilitators and 3) raising awareness on Aberkyn and Accelerate by building trusted relations with colleagues.You will also have a key role in further developing the region, not only by developing clients, but also by building the hub and team as part of McKinsey Accelerate. At the same time, you have the opportunity to build new knowledge/service lines within Aberkyn to deliver cutting-edge knowledge to our clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in a professional services company or in business/other organizations
  • Proven client and business development experience, including developing and leading (large-scale) culture transformation programs and top team journeys
  • Project management skills and a proven ability to manage, coach and inspire teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (PowerPoint, Word)
  • Personal development and transformation is an integral part in your life and you have a continuous interest in developing your spiritual foundation
  • Demonstrate a good balance with your EQ, IQ and SQ (Spiritual Intelligence)
