As a Senior\Principal Engineer of Non-Volatile Engineering (NVE) Managed NAND Product Engineering at Micron Technology, Inc., you will work with a team of brilliant engineers to solve complex problems. You are responsible to enable the New Product Introduction process by closely working with the cross-functional teams such as 3D NAND device, 3DXP, ASIC and FW teams to assist Qualification and Ramping of cutting-edge mobile and embedded products. You will also define training requirements for new engineers, deliver instruction, and assist with data analysis and project management as needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with Managed NAND system design and eco system teams to develop eMMC/UFS products for best-in-class market introduction
• Understand 3D NAND defect mechanisms and Managed NAND system error recovery features
• Understand 3DXP/MTX defect mechanisms and Managed NAND system error recovery features
• Optimize memory, ASIC, and product configurations to meet performance requirements
• Closely work with Managed NAND and test engineering teams to validate necessary test coverage for production memory and MCP testing
• Work with Product Development, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams to balance customer requirements against cost, timeline, and manufacturability
• Define and develop high quality and cost-efficient qualification strategies
• Extensive use of data parsing and yield analysis in alignment with key development milestones
• Provide guidance through debug and resolution of product related issues
• Routinely communicate overall product status to leadership and cross functional product teams
• Provide technical and management training and expertise

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience is required (or 2-3 if Master's degree is held)
• Experience with advanced 3D NAND flash and other non-volatile storage
• Experience with advanced 3DXP is preferred
• Understanding of volatile and non-volatile memory interfaces including UFS, eMMC, LPDRAM
• Good multitasking and organizational skills, able to make decisions in complex situations
• Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
• Ability to delegate tasks and set priorities in a team environment
• Experience working in a sophisticated technology company
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent Project Management skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Self-motivation and enthusiasm

Education Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
