Responsibilities
Partner with Researchers to help them do their best work
- Champion interdisciplinary thinking across research domains to cross-pollinate ideas, tools and technology trends like Artificial Intelligence, Software in Everything, Systems Thinking, etc.
- Influence researchers to use MathWorks platform to better handle or capitalize on the megatrends transforming their fields.
Partner with Educators to help them do their best teaching
- Champion computational thinking by influencing academic leaders to incorporate computational literacy into their curriculum. Identify, track and influence the adoption of MathWorks products in relevant Engineering, Science and Business courses, at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Establish rapport with leading faculty and researchers and persuade them to advocate for MathWorks products on-campus and in the broader community.
Strategize, Plan, and Execute
- Develop technical engagement plans and activities in collaboration with the account team to increase the adoption of MathWorks products across a set of strategic institutions. Regularly review the key metrics with your team to adapt your plans. Report plan progress to relevant stakeholders.
- Visit customers to advocate and support deeper use of MathWorks products. Prepare and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and application examples. Communicate the impact of engagements to institute leadership.
- Advocate on behalf of customers to influence the future of MathWorks products.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates must be willing to travel 25% to 50% of the time
- A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
Additional Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Engineering or Science
- Proven working experience with MATLAB & Simulink
- Experience working in a relevant industry is a plus
- Experience in a Sales, Marketing or Customer-Facing Technical role is a plus
- Experience as a graduate-level Research or Teaching Assistant is a plus
