Physician - Addiction Medicine

Full Time - Addiction Medicine Position!!

Position would be 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient.

Shared responsibility in 8 bed detox unit and medical issues in 24 bed residential treatment unit.

Inpatient medical consultation on the Monroe campus is an area with growth of potential growth. We explore MAT with all patients and initiate bup/nal treatment or naltrexone treatment as indicated. With our 24 hour nursing staff and hospital medical support, we are able to admit more complex medical patients than most rehab facilities. Participating in triaging these patients prior to admission is part of the inpatient responsibility We have a pregnant women’s program with local OB support, interest in participating in that program is a plus.

Outpatient: EvergreenHealthcare is committed to addressing substance use disorder within their system and is open to integrating treatment within their clinic network. Growth potential to help expand our outpatient SUD treatment.

Candidate must be board certified in addiction medicine thru ABAM. Ideal candidate would have additional board certification in a primary care specialty. Other candidates would be considered on an individual basis.
