Role/Scope
Responsible for key components of Schwab's Digital Transformation for the Digital Services team including:
- Manage and continue to develop the Digital Accelerator program to drive innovation for our customers, including strategic planning, pipeline development, path to production, and budget management for our Customer Journey and Innovation Labs programs within the Accelerator
- Define and lead the operating model evolution of the Accelerator Program to bring more innovation to our clients more quickly, test and implement new practices, and develop recommendations for the broader organization as the Accelerator matures
- Define and lead key strategic initiatives to support the transformation such as moving to an experimentation-based product management organization, integrated UX design into our product development cycle, developing path to production model with Innovation Labs, and development a customer engagement product management discipline within the Customer Journeys
- Serve as a Digital Services guide and support a broader set of transformation initiatives with other teams within Schwab, such as rollout of selected Accelerator practices in partnership with the Digital Professional Development program, partnering with Innovation labs to drive Innovation more broadly internally and externally, and define an integrated UX operating model and roadmap with UX and Tech that includes Human led design and a design system
- Member of Digital Transformation & User Experience Leadership team and report directly to the SVP of the group
- Manage a team of one or two Transformation professionals, serve as strategic planning lead for the DT&UX team, and lead project teams of leaders across Digital and key partners for individual initiatives
Strategy & Execution
- Lead all aspects of the Accelerator Program Evolution program which includes strategic planning, practice evolution, pipeline development and communication
- Lead the Strategic planning & Operations for the DT&UX team which includes overall budget planning, strategic headcount planning as we buildout the integrated UX model, and team engagement for the Accelerator, UX and Transformation teams
- Continue to drive broader Transformation including chairing the monthly Digital Transformation Progress and Learning forum where key changes are defined, refined and agreed to with EVP and SVP leaders across Digital, Operations and Technology
- Partner with Schwab Technology Services, Operations, HR, DPDP and product coaches to define, socialize and implement a broader change to our product planning and delivery model
- Identify, shape and lead projects relating to the Digital Transformation and support Digital Services change management in closer partnership with the Digital Services leadership team
Communication
- Create presentations and written communications to tell the Accelerator Transformation story, build excitement, create alignment with partners and engage the Digital Accelerator and Digital Services employees
- Facilitate knowledge sharing across Digital Services through strong relationships
- Contribute to a change management and communication plan across other teams and guide them to better lead and absorb change using industry standard Change Management Model
- Engage with executive leadership early and often to gather feedback, consensus and pivot on high priority transformation initiatives
