What you’re good at

Duties: Monitoring alerts of perimeter network security devices such as firewall and edge router. create custom technical signatures for network security threats. Implement changes on security systems such as firewall to mitigate cyber security threats. Perform analysis on technology environment for potential cyber security risks. Monitor and control infrastructure performance in the areas of response, throughput, and availability related to distributed denial of service (Distributed Denial of Service) field. Report Daily/Monthly/Yearly Distributed Denial of Service activities. Train/mentor Systems Administrators on Security Operations Center (SOC) on Distributed Denial of Service (DDos) related areas. Act as a liaison between VNSS, Network Engineering and Security Operations Center (SOC) on Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) related projects. Ensure that all incidents are recorded and tracked to meet audit and legal requirements. Helps locate necessary tools and processes to identify troublesome trends as they develop. The network operations team is also responsible for monitoring, detection and mitigation for distributed denial of services partnering with Schwab DDoS mitigation service provider. Participates in various IT projects intended to continually improve/upgrade the telecommunications infrastructure

What you have

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
