Job Description
On April 1, 2020, Rubicon Project and Telaria, Inc. merged to create one company. The combined company will rebrand as one in the coming months. In the interim, each company will operate under its existing brand name. The ticker symbol for the combined public entity will remain NASDAQ: RUBI.
As a Buyer Account Manager, you will have direct ownership for the success of Rubicon’s agency and brand accounts—some of the largest ad buyers in the U.S.. You’ll optimize the buyers’ performance on Rubicon’s exchange. You’ll identify, pitch, and execute client growth opportunities. You’ll ensure buyers fully capitalize on Rubicon’s extensive product capabilities and technology.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and optimize client media spend and performance; troubleshoot execution with both internal teams and clients; create media plans and recommendations; and package and execute PMPs and deals
- D eepen relationships with stakeholders at agencies, trading desks, and brands in order to maximize revenue growth opportunities, drive product utilization, and train clients on Rubicon’s products and capabilities
- Work closely with Rubicon’s Seller team to assess publishers that can yield revenue growth opportunities ( i.e., PMP/deals, display, mobile, video)
- Partner with Rubicon’s DSP team to optimize buying through the client’s chosen DSP
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2-3 years of related work experience - including experience with RTB/programmatic and digital advertising. Work experience at an agency, DSP or SSP a plus.
- Highly motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent written, verbal communications, and presentation skills; and effective in client interactions.
- Strong analytical/Excel skills; including the ability to spot trends in large data sets
- Possess an understanding of online advertising dynamics, trends, and technologies; and campaign planning & buying (including RTB).
- Effective time management skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail, proactive prioritization, and delivery of high quality work in a fast-paced environment.
