What You'll Do

You will be part of a global operational accounting team providing accounting support to the entities of Cisco Capital. You are a key component in the month end close process through journal entry preparation, account analysis and account reconciliation. You will participate in innovative and dynamic improvement in execution and will have the opportunity to partner with numerous internal Cisco finance teams.

Who You'll Work With

The Corporate Controller Group (CCG), is comprised of several groups that are committed to supporting business processes with a high level of integrity and credibility through developing, influencing and implementing global financial policy and process and effective partnering. The specific group that you will belong to is Capital Accounting. Capital Accounting supports Cisco Capital who provides a wide array of financing options to Cisco customers.

There are exciting changes taking place within the Cisco Finance organization as we shift to become even more passionate about our business partners and drive groundbreaking initiatives in the way we operate. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience and exposure to functions both within and outside of Finance.

Minimum requirements for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of experience in related field
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Excellent analytical and social skills
• Excellent organization and detail oriented
• Prior leasing, financing or banking experience useful
