If you are motivated by delivering happiness, come join us at Zoom! We are seeking a EMEA Senior Payroll specialist to support our growing EMEA’s payroll function in our Amsterdam office. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has an excellent core knowledge of EMEA’s countries payroll and is eager to contribute their expertise to a fast growing company. We are expanding to other countries! This role will be involved in setting up payroll in additional EMEA countries with the help of local accountants. We are looking for an individual with demonstrated experience building and leading accurate and timely payroll processes that promote a high quality employee experience. The individual must have demonstrated experience scaling payroll processes including the optimization of ADP's functionality and its integration with Workday.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform daily payroll department operations for EMEA’s countries payroll
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately (monthly payroll schedule & off cycle payroll transactions)
• Identify and improve payroll processes
• Manage new EMEA countries payroll tax registrations and collaborate with tax team on payroll tax issues
• Review and post payroll journal entries into the accounting system
• Prepare month end flux analysis for payroll related accounts
• Review and reconcile payroll transmission to general ledger
• Prepare, reconcile, and review payroll account balances
• Understand proper taxation of employee and employer benefits and deductions
• Process sales commission & bonus payments
• Process sales equity transactions provided by the stock admin team (RSU/ESPP/NQ)
• Communicate with HR/Stock Admin/Expense Team to obtain the necessary information to process payroll
• Respond to employees and internal teams when there are payroll inquiries
• Manage ad hoc projects related to payroll and HR

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience managing payroll processing across the EMEA region and previous working experience in Accounting
• Experience with a company 2000+ employees
• Experience with processing equity transactions
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Strong knowledge of payroll withholdings
• Extremely high attention to detail
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, and prioritize competing workloads
• Excellent written, and verbal communication skills
• Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in ADP Workforce Now
• Intermediate experience in MS Office Suite and GSuite
• Experience with Workday and Netsuite is a plus
• System implementation experience is a must
