The Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team sits within the Services organization. The team’s key mission is to proactively identify, manage, monitor and report key third party vendor risks in order to enable and challenge risk based decision making in support of the firm’s ‘One Goldman Sachs’ forward strategy.

This Associate level professional will have responsibility for TPRM’s Contingent Worker (CW) Management Program globally. The Contingent Worker Management Program provides the framework for addressing, managing and reporting the risks attendant to the contingent workers that provide services to Goldman Sachs around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW

The Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team sits within the Services organization. The team’s key mission is to proactively identify, manage, monitor and report key third party vendor risks in order to enable and challenge risk based decision making in support of the firm’s ‘One Goldman Sachs’ forward strategy.

This Associate level professional will have responsibility for TPRM’s Contingent Worker (CW) Management Program globally. The Contingent Worker Management Program provides the framework for addressing, managing and reporting the risks attendant to the contingent workers that provide services to Goldman Sachs around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the firm’s global Contingent Worker (CW) Management Program

Act as the principal liaison with firm businesses and corporate functions to ensure effective planning and collaboration on CW Program initiatives, and coordination of efforts among various firm risk functions

Serve as TPRM CW lead liaison with second line of defense Operational Risk Management and Analysis (ORMA) risk specialist team

Respond to TPRM Contingent Worker Program related inquiries from Regulators, Business Units or key stakeholders globally

Coordinate TPRM Contingent Worker content for internal senior forums and business engagement meetings (e.g., Committees, Governance Groups, etc.)

Support maintenance of TPRM policies, procedures and standards consistent with regulatory guidance

Provide input into TPRM data strategy

Develop and deliver appropriate training program for Contingent Worker related [training] matters both within TPRM and the firm as a whole

Responsible for line managing one GS full time employee in support of global program

Proactive Involvement in industry engagement

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a risk management, third party risk management, or global risk program design function

Strong foundation of third party risks (i.e., vendor, inter-affiliate outsourcing and contingent worker activities)

Possess a strong risk and control mindset

Highly organized; attention to detail (especially data quality) and excellent follow-through required

Knowledge and experience of working with key global regulators

Experience with running / contributing to risk management programs within the financial industry or other blue chip organizations

Global stakeholder engagement, including ability to coordinate and interact effectively with global colleagues

Enhanced critical thinking and problem solving skills; agile thinker; collaboration skills; ability to be persuasive

Analytical thinker, able to quickly assess situations, multi-task, prioritize and make observations and linked recommendations

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)

Confident candidate who is an enthusiastic team player

Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing organization

MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)

Possess a Bachelor’s degree
