Job Description – Sr Field Marketing Specialist – AMS Field Marketing East

ServiceNow is seeking a high-performing, customer-centric individual to join the Americas marketing team as a Sr Field Marketing Specialist supporting East Area accounts. This position reports into the East Field Marketing Director and will support five Field Marketing Managers in addition to the Director. Position to be based in New York or Waltham office.

The Sr Field Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Field Marketing Managers on supporting and executing marketing activities that generate and accelerate pipeline. Activities will include regional tradeshows, hosted events, direct mail, account-specific activities, user groups, and field events.

Essential Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

• Secure venues, staff and speakers for assigned events

• Provide onsite event support

• Ensure activity costs remain within the budget allocated

• Manage field marketing store inventory and make shipments in support of marketing events

• Ensure system updates on campaigns for timely follow-up by inside sales and accurate reporting of ROI

• Assist in entering purchase requests for marketing supplies and activity expenses

• Event materials – outbound and return and notification to prepare for onsite

• Ensure setup readiness - signage, seating, AV, etc.

• Manage payment requests information

• Coordinate team budgets and reconciliations

• Share best practices with field marketing colleagues to understand what works in region and ways to improve existing campaigns & programs

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• 5+ years in marketing or sales experience in a comparable industry

• Strong presentation, writing and communication skills required

• Budget conscious mentality

• Creative problem solver and resourceful executer

• Excellent project management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment under tight deadlines

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• 15% domestic travel (mainly NYC, Boston, Philly, DC, Ohio Valley area, Georgia, Carolinas, Florida)
