Job Description

Senior Manager - Finance:

As an individual contributor you will make significant contributions to the USIS FP&A team with focus on BU FP&A. Work closely with corporate finance, accounting and BU finance to support and assist in the monthly close, budget, forecast and reporting.

Responsibilities

• You will prepare daily and weekly analysis of revenue performance
• Prepare monthly channel performance reports and deliver to the business leaders
• You will create ad-hoc analyses of business drivers as needed, and prepare associated executive-level presentations
• Work with business teams to develop annual growth plan and budgets, working within Finance processes and guidance
• You will work with Sales Comp to allocate quota and answer questions related to billings
• You will look for ways to streamline our tasks by using Excel skills or other means to make processes more efficient
• Assist in business case preparation, when needed
• You will handle multiple ad hoc projects across the channel, such as headcount analysis, automated report creation, capital tracking, or assisting on specific business unit projects
• You will be a super user for HFM/Planning/Essbase RDW
• You will be manipulating large sets of data (via Access and/or BI software and advanced Excel techniques) and distilling the information down to key highlights/drivers of the business. Accordingly, demonstrated business knowledge is a key to success for this position.
• Support the efforts of the Sr. Director to transform reporting and forecasting tasks into advanced BI and visualization tools.

What makes you a good fit for this role?

• Bachelor’s degree required, in Finance or Accounting preferred. MBA preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Detail oriented, with high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work either independently or in a team environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build working relationships across the organization.
• Proficient with MS office Suite, with expertise in Excel and Power Point.
• Experience with Oracle and Hyperion (HFM and Planning) strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Tableau, or similar BI programs, a plus.
