Sales Data Management (SDM) is responsible for the accuracy of the data that flows into the data warehouse through various systems and processes. Responsibilities

We are seeking a San Antonio, Texas based Analyst to join our Sales Data Management Team.

The SDM Analyst will be responsible for using various standard applications which include, but are not limited to, DST SalesConnect, SalesForce.com, DST TA 2000 Desktop, SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, Access and other proprietary software applications that may be needed to perform daily responsibilities.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of and/or participation in projects relevant to AB sales reporting
  • Administration of wholesaler commissions, including adjustments resulting from trade moves and delivery of manual commissions to the SVP/Director of Financial Control and Analysis
  • Management of processes to take in various manual sales reporting data supplied by intermediaries and apply it to AB sales reporting
  • Management and execution of territory alignment change requests
  • Development of ad-hoc reporting from various sales reporting resources
  • Responding to inquiries from all levels of AB sales regarding sales reporting issues
  • Management of all intermediary conversions that have an impact on sales reporting
  • Reconciliation of omnibus activity against sales reporting record keeping system
  • Prepare department performance reporting
  • Other responsibilities that may be assigned to the person based on his or her skill and capacity to support

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have the following:

Qualifications, Experience, Education:

  • 2 to 5 years data reporting experience is required (mutual fund data reporting is a plus)
  • 2 to 3 years project management experience
  • Must have strong relationship/customer management experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities

Skills:

  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Exceptional communication, time management, problem framing, and follow up skills required
  • Organized, thorough and conscientious. Establishes priorities and follows through on tasks to completion
  • Proficient in the use of office desktop packages with an intermediate or higher of knowledge in Excel and ACCESS

Special Knowledge (if applicable):

  • Ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of mutual fund operations and sales reporting
  • Must be able to execute tasks effectively as an individual and through delegation to others
  • Candidate must have the proven ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvement and risk mitigation opportunities
  • Candidate must be client focused
  • Candidate can work in a fast-paced setting
