Zoom is seeking an experienced and dynamic sales enablement professional with solid go-to-market experience to lead the global sales enablement organization and build the strategic vision of the department. The primary objective is to optimize our sales process, sales programs, sales tools, and overall sales strategy to continue to deliver happiness to our customers. This leader will consistently deliver a balance of data-driven and experience-driven insights and recommendations to cross-functional, executive leadership in areas like marketing, product, sales, channel, customer success, and more. This role is the highest position on our enablement team and reports to the Head of Global Sales Operations + Enablement.

Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage a team of global enablement professionals who focus on onboarding, ongoing programs, tech enablement, sales communication, sales content, and more
    • Own the strategy and vision for creating or updating sales curriculum, content, and delivery
    • Drive the adoption of sales process and methodologies to ensure a consistent voice to our customers
    • Build a world-class certification program to ensure sales readiness in various markets and across products
    • Be a thought leader and excited about being a change-driver for sales
    • Establish metrics of success of programs and work with Data Science to build dashboards to measure performance
    • Participate in go-to-market launch programs, with an ownership over sales readiness
    • Own the overall sales tech stack and applicable strategies to optimize for usage and adoption
    • Oversee Zoom’s monthly, in -person Basecamp for all new hires in sales
    • Manage and optimize the segment-specific, onboarding programs that occur after Basecamp to continually improve ramp time and customer happiness
    • Develop and optimize segment-specific, ongoing curriculum and programs that improve the productivity of our sellers

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 7-10 years of experience leading the creation and development of sales enablement programs
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a Sales Enablement team
    • Experience leading enablement with sellers in SMB to Enterprise, Global, and with direct and channel models
    • Exposure to different sales methodologies and an understanding of their benefits and potential downsides
    • Experience identifying sales enablement issues with experience solving them multiple ways
    • Comfortable with leading change management plans
    • Demonstrated business and technical acumen
    • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are a requirement
    • Experience entering new markets and evaluating what is needed to succeed
    • Ability to manage an intense workload with short timeframes.
