Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an Application Integration Engineer - Epic to one of the following locations: Portland OR, Beaverton OR, Seattle WA, Renton WA, Everett WA, Olympia WA, Spokane WA, Richland WA, Missoula MT, Anchorage AK, Burbank CA, Anaheim CA, Torrance CA or Santa Rosa CA.

We are seeking a Integration Apps Engineer to provide expertise in web application development, and object oriented design and implementation with a specialization in ASP.NET, C# and Web API technologies for Providence St Joseph Health (PSJH) and affiliated organizations. Essential job responsibilities include: thought leadership, planning, design and implementation of web and API solutions.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

• Work closely with all levels of the organization, including executive level staff, to quickly prototype possible approaches to problems and needs, and help design and implement the final solution
• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern front end frameworks (HTML/CSS/Boostrap/TypeScript etc...)
• Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.) is needed to be successful in this position.
• Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
• Assist project manager in preparing time estimates and justification for assigned tasks and will project manage smaller scale projects
• Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer/code reviews
• Develop unit test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs
• A solid understanding of various Microsoft frameworks (.NET, Entity etc.), Tools (Visual Studio etc.) and Languages (C# etc.) And also strong SQL background.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services or an equivalent combination of education, skills and relevant experience.
• Five (5) years of web development experience.
• Five (5) years of C#.NET, HTML, CSS, Typescript/JavaScript, Bootstrap, EntityFramework, LINQ
• Two (2) years ASP.NET or .NET Core
• Two (2) years Microsoft Web API
• Two (2) years MS SQL Server , T-SQL, Stored Proceedures
• Two (2) years object oriented design and implementation
• Two (2) years MS Visual Studio
• Two (2) years any UnitTesting frameworks like (MS Test)
