Position Overview Do you have a strong background in marketing? In this role, you will join the Autodesk Construction Solutions (ACS) team as the single point of contact for all speaking opportunities in North America. You will work closely with Field Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Autodesk customers to create compelling presentations to support ACS’ presence at construction industry events. You will provide strategic direction and guidance to help customers build content that supports their story, while emphasizing the value proposition of ACS. Additionally, you will recommend best practices, implement standard processes, tools, and templates to help manage these programs more efficiently, effectively, and consistently across the ACS marketing organization. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with customers to evangelize and promote their successes, while playing a pivotal role to evangelize the leadership of Autodesk in construction.
Responsibilities Ensure program deliverables are meeting timelines and are executed with minimal disruption; accountable for overseeing the day-to-day execution, tactical plans, and overall program planning in collaboration with Field Marketing and Customer Marketing teams Create mechanisms and processes to store and organize information related to speakers, presentations, and abstracts – continuously exploring opportunities to add value to speaker management processes Research and compile background information on existing and potential event speakers – creating an online database of qualified speakers viewable to others within the ACS organization Document, socialize, and publish a process for submitting speaker abstracts, identifying speakers, and supporting speaker content Create a process for adding and onboarding new speakers – including the creation of a digital speaker packet Curate a searchable database of relevant industry abstracts that are tagged to existing speakers and can be submitted for presentation opportunities Create processes to document and analyze speaker feedback, as well as feedback from the event, to continuously improve content and speaker management procedures
Minimum Qualifications A BA/BS degree, along with 5-7 years' experience working for a commercial general contractor in marketing or similar role Previous project management experience Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Must have solid communication/networking skills, writing/editing capabilities and a collaborative ‘can-do’ attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfort with extensive outreach to customers and internal staff Ability to work under general supervision and must be detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of SaaS marketing tools that can be used as part of the desired program framework Experience creating, laying out, and delivering compelling proposals and/or awards submissions
