  • General management of the Market IT Benelux organization
  • IT Business Partnering (stakeholder management, demand management, escalation management) with the Benelux Market organization and with all sites in the Benelux geography, covering Infrastructure and Applications
  • Infrastructure Operations management for all 15+ sites in the Benelux geography, including essential Philips sites like Best, Drachten, High Tech Campus, and the Philips Headquarters in Amsterdam
  • Local Applications Operations management
  • Contribute to and deploy the Technology strategy, portfolio and programs of Philips IT
  • People management
  • Financial and performance management

You are a part of

The Market IT Benelux organization is part of the IT International Markets organization of Philips IT, and provides IT support and services to the Benelux Market organization and to the Philips sites at 15+ locations in the Benelux geography. These locations include large and essential Philips sites like Best, Drachten, High Tech Campus, and the Philips Headquarters in Amsterdam.

You will lead four groups (Site Operations, Local Applications, Global Customer Service Helpdesk and Business Analysts) together with your management team.

Key tasks are

  • Ensure that the local and last mile IT services are delivered according to the needs of the organization. A significant part of the work of the Head of Market IT Benelux is to coordinate the local IT organization and to lead the alignment between the Market Benelux organization and the IT function in Philips, and to act as linking pin between the IT organization and the Market organization and the sites in the geography.
  • Act as trusted IT Business Partner of the Market organization, ensuring business objectives are supported and enabled by IT, and value is added by IT
  • Act as the Voice of the Customer on behalf of the Market organization and the geography (Benelux), translating the global IT strategy to a local IT roadmap and enabling the development opportunities and plans for (strategic) business growth and efficiency for the geography
  • Central contact and escalation point for the management of the Market organization and for the management teams of the sites in the geography for all IT matters
  • Support the Market organization in the implementation and adoption of global and local application projects and support the sites with the implementation of infrastructure projects
  • Operating local IT services (both Application and Infrastructure) against competitive costs, agreed in SLA Site IT for all sites in Benelux
  • Lead and coordinate the Global Customer Service Helpdesk to support Field Service Engineers across the globe
  • Creating the financial annual operating plan for Market IT Benelux including quarterly update
  • Hierarchically and functionally responsible for all Market IT Staff; this includes performance management and talent development, and driving culture and employee engagement

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, MBA or similar with at least 15 years of experience in a global IT environment, preferably a matrix organization
  • Proven experience in partnering up with high level management (C –level executives)
  • Can-do attitude with a goal oriented personality
  • Ample experience as a people manager, leading a geographically dispersed team
