Job Description
DescriptionPRIMARY ROLE:
This role will provide support to the product development process by managing and maintaining product information in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. The Senior Coordinator is responsible for data integrity and documentation from design phase through mass production, ensuring details are entered promptly, accurately, and consistently. This role also works very closely with the cross-functional teams to provide training and application support as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with Design, Product Development, Raw Materials, Print and Color, and Merchandising teams to ensure that the most up-to-date information is being entered into PLM.
- Responsible for initiation and management of style, print, color and raw material relationships.
- Conduct key product development data analysis and assessments, proactively collaborating and following up with key partners on deliverables throughout the product development process.
- Troubleshoot application and prodocut-related data, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve identified issues.
- Observing business processes, anticipating potential needs, uncovering areas for improvement, and proposing changes to help improve process.
- Create training notes and material to support new functionality, as well as conduct classroom-style or one-on-one training sessions.
- Participate in user acceptance testing of functionality and fixes in PLM.
- Prioritize workload based on business needs and requirements; manage competing resources and priorities.
Qualifications- Knowledge of product lifecycle, especially in a retail setting.
- Exceptionally computer literate; Experience with PLM and Adobe Illustrator; Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain a high-level of understanding how PLM and related applications are used by the end-users.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be organized; Have strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to support changing priorities in a reliable manner while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude.
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and able to work independently.
