M Health Fairview has an immediate opening for a Certified Medical Assistant/LPN at the Oakdlae Clinic. Take your passion for helping patients achieve and maintain a healthier life at HealthEast! By performing daily patient visits, assisting with procedures, and accurately documenting information in the clinic electronic health record system, you will be a vital part of our clinic team!

This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two week pay period) opening and qualifies for a competitive benefits package and a $3000 New Hire Bonus!!!

Responsibilities/Job Description

To be successful the Medical Assistant must:

• Room patients, take vitals and health history, document in an electronic medical record, give injections and assist with minor procedures
• Gather information and documents to support the patient visit
• Be responsible for adhering to all policies, procedures and practice guidelines
• Promote teamwork with all members of the health care team
• Maintain complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and workflow

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Current Medical Assistant certification by the AAMA or AMT or able to obtain within 6 months of hire or License Practical Nurse (LPN) through the MN Board of Nursing
• Current BLS certification required upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a clinic setting
• Willingness and ability to work at other locations
