About this opportunity

We are looking for a Senior System Integration/ Software Development Engineer in Test for the System Integration team. The System Integration team supports Engineering Teams in developing, testing, and iterating upon a wide range of System Components. You will become a Subject Matter Expert in how our components integrate together, and how these integrations support the production over half a million custom 3D printed parts per day.

In this role, you will...

• Learn and become an expert on the design of our integration components.
• Support Engineering Teams by providing Just-in-Time testing related to End-to-End workflows
• Be assigned to specific software projects as a member of a cross-functional team
• Perform regular White-box analysis reviews with Engineering to solidify regression test plans
• Create test automation to perform E2E Testing based regression and integration scenarios
• Support Manual Testing as required based on systems that do not currently have automation support (~20% manual).
• Whenever Manual Testing is required, lead the innovation charge to reduce our dependence on that Manual Testing
• Innovate and Automate with Quality Engineering and Maintainability principles
• Work with a global team to modify and extend existing automation frameworks
• Monitor regular test execution, analyze the reports, troubleshoot, and investigate failures on a daily basis
• Train and mentor functional SQAs in E2E Testing practices.
• Analyze functional and non-functional software requirements, work with manual SQA Engineers to solidify test plans
• Work closely with Manual SQA Testers to provide holistic Test Plan coverage
• Work with the Global System Integration Team to standardize our solutions
• Support User and Business Acceptance Testing meetings
• Be a voice for quality within all interactions, while still maintaining the Agile mindset

In this role, you’ll need ...

• BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, and equivalent years of experience
• 8+ years in Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation and/or Software Development
• 5+ years of SDET-based programming experience related to QA Test Automation
• Python and/or Java Expertise, and the ability to quickly spin up on new languages

• Strong foundation in both Object-Oriented Programming and Scripting Languages
• Strong foundation in Database Design and usage
• Follow Quality Engineering Practices, every day, without compromise
• Build solutions that support maintainability over speed
• Follow Lowest Level Automation practices
• Experience with complex System Integration component testing is a plus
• Experience with 3D software testing is a plus
