The FP&A Manager is responsible for planning, reporting, and communicating Workiva's financial results and plan. You will complete the financial budget and forecasts and participate in driving and executing Workiva's financial strategy. As the first boots on the ground with regard to finance, you're able to make your mark on the EMEA market with the back-up of a global team in the US. Having doubled in size in EMEA in 2019, we have similar plans in 2020. Does this sound exciting to you?
What You'll Do:

  • Manage the annual budget planning process and provides consultation to operating groups regarding budget activities that support corporate goals and strategies
  • Participate in driving solutions to key analytical, strategic and business challenges
  • Drive process improvements related to forecasting, reporting, modeling and analysis
  • Work with operations to forecast, report and analyze financial performance
  • Analyze and provides financial reports to internal stakeholders, including headcount, compensation, and assigned cost-center reports
  • Deliver key analysis of financial and operational performance
  • Prepare financial presentations for delivery by senior, executive and C-suite leadership
  • Create and develops financial models and reports
  • May directly manage an assigned finance team
  • Maintain full oversight of the EMEA financials, ensuring that forecasts are accurate, and issues are well communicated to all appropriate parties (including Corporate Finance and EMEA Management)

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's or University Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in finance, business analytics or planning
  • Excellent written verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with and influence individual contributors and leaders at all levels of responsibility and financial literacy
  • Ability to interact and provide consultation to executive management and C-Suite
  • Excellent analytical, technical, financial modeling and presentation skills, including the ability to analyze complex financial data sets and provide insight and actionable recommendations
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines under tight timelines, and manage multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, identify best practices and make decisions
  • Strong time management skills, and the flexibility to work with partners across multiple time zones
  • Ability to identify and closely monitor key indicators for division to alert of business risks, as well as identify opportunities to help improve sales and operational efficiencies
  • English fluency required, additional languages would be considered a bonus
  • MBA Preferred

Travel Requirement:
  • Up to 25% travel per year.
