What you’ll be doing...

Customer demand for wireless data service keeps growing, and to stay ahead of demand, we’ redeploying new technology (5G) and new locations to provide our customers the best experience. You’ll ensure the construction of those solutions meets VZW standards and is issue free prior to activation activities. Your work will mean that even more users can connect to reliable high-speed wireless service, anywhere they live, work, and play.

  • Auditing installations to ensure accuracy.
  • Working one on one with the construction and operation teams on a daily basis, getting updates and assisting in removing roadblocks.
  • Tracking and trending quality issues to identify vendor or equipment issues.
  • Interfacing with RF design, Equipment ordering, Field Operations, and System Performance to make sure projects are meeting all applicable standards.
  • Maintaining database systems and reports pertaining to cellular site projects.
  • Providing leadership and technical direction to deployment teams to ensure that all details of the plan are completed, including information gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  • Investigating complex issues, managing multiple priorities, conversing well with construction entities, and providing direction in the field.
  • Serving as a liaison between various departments to facilitate the resolution of issues and concerns as they relate to implementation, integration, and optimization.

You’re an expert in all aspects of site activation—organized, detail oriented, and efficient. You’ve got excellent technical skills, and can work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, even in stressful situations. You’re driven to resolve problems and overcome hurdles, and you approach every situation with a can-do, team-player attitude.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Good analytical skills, communication, leadership and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving, team environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Knowledge in MS Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of the 4G and 5G architecture and equipment
  • Construction background.
  • Experience with vendor management.
