Agile Program Lead, Senior Manager

In an Agile leadership role, you will play the role of an Agile Program Lead working in delivery across 8-10 teams. In this role, you will leverage industry proven frameworks and drive the appropriate Agile methodologies and framework that will provide the appropriate focus on predictable, quality delivery, while driving continuous improvement of the organization.

General Responsibilities:

Creation of the Delivery Plan:

• Aligning product & engineering to the plan
• Navigating from roadmap to plan
• • Influencing sequencing
  • Resolving dependencies
  • Identifying and mitigating risk (ROAM)
  • Driving estimation of work towards goals/milestones
• Using Agile techniques & mindset to create the plan

Execution of the Delivery Plan:

• Influencing & adjusting plan based on progress, impediments & dependencies
• Managing the plan using enterprise tools
• Proactively bringing solutions to team to help get back on track
• Providing transparency and communicating changes to the plan to engineering and product stakeholders

Improvement of the Delivery Plan:

• Using data to illustrate change, delivery trends/insights
• Owning, implementing and driving data-driven improvements
• Incorporating changes into delivery plan, delivery process

Coaching focused:

• Teach, mentor, and coach teams, Agile Delivery Leads, ARTs and Product on emerging agile, lean, and XP methods
• Acts as a coach to any Agile role or stakeholder
• Opportunities and leads in a variety of learning opportunities such as Communities of Practice, conferences, classroom training and independent study to further develop self and community

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of industry experience in Technology Delivery software or infrastructure
• At least 3 Years of Agile experience
• At least 1 year of agile coaching experience
• At least 2 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Scrum Alliance CSM or CSP certification or PMI’s Agile Certified Professional (ACP)
• Agile or Professional Coaching certification
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
• SAFe certified or other scaled Agile frameworks
