As a member of the Finance Center of Excellence Reporting Team - this position will be responsible for assisting in the development of analytical models with a focus on predictive insights. These models will explore areas such as revenue, bookings velocity, margin, backlog, growth opportunities, & improving forecast accuracy. This position will also be responsible for the preparation, investigation and resolution of management reports supporting multiple areas of Zebra providing analytics and variance analysis as necessary.

*this position will be based out of our Holtsville, NY office*

Responsibilities

• Development/Creation of analytical models utilizing historical data trends for predictive analytics
• Support the creation of management reports with appropriate narrative and explanations utilizing a variety of tools including PowerBi
• Execute & distribution of existing standardized management reports
• Support ad-hoc projects and the development of financial reporting for ad-hoc projects
• Work on P&L reporting and variance analysis.
• Acts as part of the team to assist with business partnership and the development of reports.
• Involvement in the preparation and submission of annual budgets and quarterly rolling forecast
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
• 0-2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
• High Degree of Accuracy
• Confident at working to deadlines
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced Excel and database skills
• Experience with a computer based accounting systems e.g. SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, ERP
