What You Will Do

As an Associate with Sacred Heart Health System-FL, you will have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities:

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Clinics in Alabama require Ala LCE.
    • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Valid state license required for associates working in Alabama clinics.

Education:

• Diploma
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required

Work Experience:

• Experience in pediatrics highly preferred and those with experience wil be given first priority.
• High-level customer service coupled with compassionate care.
• Ability to work with highly skilled and diverse teams.
