Job Description
Our Sales & SRM Senior Finance Analyst, working in collaboration with the US Sales Finance Manager, will provide financial support to our Sales organization. In this capacity the primary objectives will include:
- Completion of Sales Financial close processes
- Support of Trade and Sales budgeting processes (S&OP and Annual Planning)
- Delivery of the implementation of a new Trade Management System
Ongoing support of our US SRM agenda
Sales Financial Close Processes:
- Working with MGFS in the preparation of period end journals required to correctly recognize Trade investment expenditure for US Food market; together with Balance Sheet reconciliations for trade accounts
- Partnership with MGFS and Sales Organization to ensure timely resolution/clearance of Trade Deductions
- Preparation of period reporting on Trade expenditure and NSV growth for use by Sales Finance Manager, US Sales Directors and to the US and Global Food Management Team including reconciliation to Accounting (SAP) and Trade systems
- Partnership with Financial Control and Sales Operations teams in the continuous monitoring and improvement of trade expenditure controls including responsibility for the completion of quarterly Trade Audits to ensure accurate and timely recognition of Trade Expenditure
- Provision of support to the US Sales Finance Manager on adhoc basis to complete additional analysis and investigation with regards to Trade Expenditure and Sales Performance
Trade & Sales Budgeting Process:
- Prepare and review consolidated Trade and NSV forecasts – leveraging standardized ways of working enabled through implementation of new Trade Management Tools
- Work in collaboration with FP&A team to ensure timely submission of S&OP forecast
- Provide support to Sales Finance Manager in the preparation of an Annual Plan
- SRM Agenda:
- Support Sales team in the realisation of Trade Promotional Excellence in collaboration with the Sales Finance Manager and Trade Optimization Manager
- Responsibility for hands on support in the implementation of new TPE Platform (Visual Fabriq) including the implementation of trade controls and forecasting/reporting capabilities
- Provide ongoing support to the continuous improvement of SRM tools (i.e. Visual Fabriq and Customer Profitability Models) used by the US Food business
- Provide adhoc analytical support to the Sales team in connection with customer negotiations
Job Specifications/Requirements:
• Required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Strong preference for having completed an MBA, CPA, CMA or equivalent years of experience in finance/business related areas.
• Demonstrated financial accounting skills and planning experience as well as proven cross-functional experience
• Required: High level of proficiency in SAP and Excel; Preferred: Proficiency in using Power BI
