Have you led global teams driving digital content marketing and value argumentation whilst making fact-based and courageous decisions?

Do you have management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects and objectives?

As the Head of Demand Generation OSS/BSS you will be responsible for managing a team of solution marketing managers within the Business Area Digital Services M&C.

The position has overall responsibility for translating business objectives into marketing priorities, crafting business significant content whilst progressing the customer through the buyer journey!

As a team we focus on addressing our customer challenges with value argumentation, bold messages and informative and engaging content suitable primarily for digital channels and physical meetings.

We work in close collaboration with other Marketing and Communication units as well as Solution Area units.

Responsibilities of the successful candidate:

You will drive content creation including strategies, plans and the business meaningful content journey whilst we support marketing programs and position messages that generate interest for the market, existing customers and new customers while we proactively find opportunities for launch offerings. You plan and define the purpose and objective to be executed by campaign and activation.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Drive and grow demand for portfolio
  • Act as subject matter authority and spokesperson to employees, customers, analysts, and press
  • Provide Quarterly updates for Industry Analysts
  • Identify pioneering customers and document success cases in collaboration with customer marketing and sales teams in the Market Areas
  • Lead an effective cross unit collaboration and ensure joint messages are created
  • Drive demo creation to showcase thought leadership
  • Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to guide the marketing team in day-to-day activities
  • Manage hiring, development and retention of marketing talent
  • Own budget responsibility including forecasting, accurate follow up and supplier compliance
  • Represent marketing and communications unit in Solution Area OSS and BSS Leadership Teams

Key qualifications:

To be successful in this position you will have Leadership, change, and people management experience and be able to build and strengthen a team as well as working with diverse skill sets and backgrounds across location, and we trust that you are analytic, have an eye for business and have customer and market understanding as well as Domain, portfolio or industry knowledge!

You are excellent in written and verbal communication and have strong presentation skills.

Minimum qualifications and experience requirements:

  • A university degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent experience. Master’s degree in Marketing is considered a strong advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience including leading in a dynamic international environment or with global teams.
  • Domain experience in one or several of the following: telecom, IT, software, IoT.
  • You also have understanding of inbound marketing methodology and digital marketing tools.

Full proficiency in English is a requirement.
