Description
Despite spending billions of dollars every year on network security equipment, encryption solutions, log management and a host of other information security controls, bad actors continue to pierce our defenses through the very web applications that we deploy for our users’ benefit. The latent mistakes in our own software are used as the vector to steal confidential and proprietary data, to access our systems without authorization, and to disrupt critical services.

Securing our applications requires radical thinking: applications must defend themselves.

Imperva / Prevoty’s unique Application Security solution incorporates a lightning-fast, attack detection technique known as “LangSec” with easy-to-deploy autonomous software agents that neutralize attacks in realtime and provide new insights into user and application behavior. Organizations rely on Imperva / Prevoty’s high-performing RASP products to reduce risk and eliminate vulnerability backlogs.

Imperva / Prevoty is looking for an outstanding Senior Solutions Architect to join our rapidly growing Sales team. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be the primary technical point of contact during the sales cycle explaining, demonstrating and proving that the Prevoty solution is superior to alternative solutions and the best fit for the prospect’s needs.
Responsibilities

  • Ensure that prospect concerns prior to the Sale have been resolved resulting in “technical wins”, new customers and customer expansions
  • Consult with prospect stakeholders to understand their business and technical challenges as well as their success criteria, measurements and value recognition metrics
  • Illustrate the benefits and capabilities of the Prevoty solution via technology demos, presentations, and discussions
  • Scope and manage all aspects of the Proof of Value engagement
  • Be the primary POV delivery resource (e.g. product installation, configuration, testing, training)
  • Evangelize the Prevoty solution through industry talks, whitepapers and blog posts
  • Maintain the relationship with the technical champion(s) at the prospect/customer site
  • Participate in account strategy and tactics discussions as a partner to region’s Sales Reps
  • Propose the elements, configuration and implementation details of the solution
  • Answer technical RFI/RFP questions, soliciting help from other team members when needed
  • Advise the Customer Success team to ensure successful implementation of the solution
  • Perform occasional Customer Success tasks (e.g. support ticket resolution assistance, service delivery, training)
  • Provide solution, RASP, AppSec and industry (e.g. compliance obligations) subject matter expertise
  • Enable and support Prevoty reseller and service delivery partners as appropriate
  • Be available, periodically, to assist when contacted by premium support customers for resolution of critical severity issues impacting customer operation outside normal business hours
  • Help develop and improve best practices for selling, implementing and operating Prevoty products in both internal and customer-facing Knowledge Bases
  • Maintain intimate knowledge of all Prevoty products and services
  • Provide clear and constructive product feedback to Prevoty Product Management based on customer requirements
  • Travel domestically and internationally, when appropriate

Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of experience in software development, engineering management, or enterprise client consulting is a must
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Strong troubleshooting, project management, and customer management skills are a must
  • Must be able to obtain security clearance as required by customers
  • In-depth understanding of the people, processes, and technologies used in the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise webs sites/services is required
  • Enterprise web development programming experience (i.e. Java, C#, etc.) is required
  • Familiarity with various software development methodologies and concepts (e.g Agile, DevOps) is required
  • Hands-on experience with web application servers (e.g. WebSphere, JBOSS, Tomcat, IIS, etc.) is required
  • Operational knowledge of Log Manager / SIEM tools (e.g. Splunk, ELK, Qradar, etc.) is required
  • Practical understanding of system administration (Windows, & Linux) is required
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Chef, etc.) is desired
  • Some working knowledge of automated testing tools (Functional, Performance, Security) is desired
  • Some experience with APM tools (e.g. New Relic, App Dynamics, etc.) is an advantage
  • Application Security experience is an advantage
