Principal Financial Analyst - Risk Mgmt Finance

The Infrastructure Finance (iFinance) team is looking for a Principal Financial Analyst to serve as a financial advisor and provide financial support to Risk Management business leaders. The Principal Financial Analyst will work directly with Anti-Money Laundering business partners to support Risk Management objectives and achieve financial targets. Key responsibilities include:

• Analyze and forecast financial performance and trends
• Present key financial assessments and results in a compelling way to senior business leaders
• Assist senior leaders in making decisions and investments with financial impacts
• Develop and build forecasting models
• Assess financial risks and opportunities
• Perform additional analyses as needed
• Identify and implement improvements to financial activities, reporting, and business partner relationships
• Work collaboratively with other finance team members on team-wide improvements and central activities
• Independently manage and prioritize workload

This role will require strong communication, problem solving, strategic thinking, and influencing skills in order to effectively:

• Articulate outcomes of financial results, analysis, and relevant insights to business leadership audiences
• Partner with business leaders to assess the financial implications of business decisions and needs

As proficiency increases, the scope of the role may expand to provide more and a greater level of interaction and autonomy with senior business partners and finance leaders.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
• At least 3 years’ experience in financial analysis
• At least 3 years’ experience with financial modeling
• Experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years’ experience in financial analysis
• 4+ years’ experience with financial modeling
• 3+ years’ experience in strategic analysis & planning
• Proven business relationship, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
• Demonstrated independent problem solving and strategic thinking abilities
• Strong teamwork skills; ability to positively contribute to overall success of the team
