Our Toronto and Vancouver team is looking for a Market Operations intern who can support our team in identifying growth opportunities and improving existing on-the-ground operations. We’re looking for someone with an analytical and entrepreneurial mindset, who is interested in making an impact on riders and drivers in Toronto, Vancouver and the GTA.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Toronto or Vancouver Market Operations team by serving as the owner for various initiatives that will drive local impact. This may include research, analysis, project management, and ongoing operational support
• Lead the execution and management of special projects across the local market, such as building the driver community, evaluating ROI of growth initiatives, and improving the driver experience
• Visit field to monitor operations on-site; provide feedback to the onsite team to improve performance
• Analyze operational data using SQL, spreadsheets, and other analytical tools
• Roll up your sleeves and get stuff done. No one can be counted on to execute faster or better than you

Experience:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business, economics (or other business oriented degree) or engineering) with an anticipated graduation in the next year
• Must be returning to school after the internship
• Proficient in G Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc), Excel, or have experience using data; SQL experience a plus, but not required
• Experience working on projects and teams in fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environments
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and collaborate team members, as well as with external stakeholders as needed
• Strong oral and written communication skills, and extreme attention to detail
• Passion and resourcefulness to solve ambiguous, undefined problems
