Field Researcher, TforG – an IQVIA company

ROLE CONTEXT

Part of the Field Research team responsible for primary research at TforG in the context of research projects commissioned by medtech companies. Working with Field Research colleagues and Project Managers responsible for specific research projects. The job consists mainly of desk research, telephone (sometimes face-to-face) interviewing and/or recruiting respondents for online surveys, and transcribing of interview results.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Performing desk research for specific projects; and sourcing and recruiting respondents, interviewing respondents and transcribing/consolidating interviews within set deadlines.

• Being the interface between TforG and hospitals (physicians and non-medical staff), payers, health authorities and associations.

• Building a network of respondents, Key Opinion Leaders and useful contacts.

• Harnessing knowledge on the healthcare system (hospital types and organization, respondent types and responsibilities, reimbursement system etc.) in the countries for which they are responsible.

• Coach temporary/new Field Research colleagues.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• As a minimum a bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
• Speaks and writes English and German fluently and correctly. Knowledge of Dutch an asset.
• Good communication skills and a friendly and open personality.
• Can work independently but also as part of a team and likes to share knowledge and learning.
• Is accurate and flexible, good at organizing their work with strong time management skills, and can handle tight deadlines.
• Not afraid of the phone, self-motivated and determined, and feels comfortable recruiting respondents for market research, interviewing them in local language on the phone based on a set questionnaire, and transcribing the responses in English.
• Enjoys doing web research and has experience working in Word and Excel.
