Job Description **This assignment is for a minimum of 3 years. Relocation of household goods will be provided.**
The selected candidate will be a part of a team of technical experts providing support for NAWCAD SCMS Field Technical Unit (FTU) Europe located at Panzer Kaserne in Stuttgart, Germany. Responsibilities will include Life Cycle Support (LCS) services for C5ISR systems, subsystems and equipment for various Special Operations Commands to include Special Operations Command Europe, Special Operations Command Africa, 1-10th Special Forces Group, Naval Special Warfare Units 2 and 10 and other commands to include European Command, Defense Threat Reduction Agency and United States Air Forces in Europe.
Technical support services may include evaluation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, installation, integration, modification, and training of C5ISR Systems.
Additionally the selected candidate will provide field service engineering for a variety of Audio Visual (AV) / Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems, networks and equipment for both mobile and fixed platforms.
Travel may be required to various Europe, Africa and U.S. locations and may also be required to other OCONUS locations including arduous duty areas.
The work location is a government facility located on Panzer Kaserne in Boeblingen, Germany. The position requires a Technical Expert Status Agreement (TESA) approval from the DoD Contractor Personnel Office (DOCPER) prior to movement to Germany.

Typical Education & Experience High School diploma and at least six years of related experience
Required Skills and Education High School diploma and at least six years of related experience
- US military Electronics Technician training/experience
- Experience with US Special Operations Forces
- Communications electronics test equipment experience
- Tactical or Shipboard radio (SATCOM, LOS, and HF) operations/maintenance experience
- COMSEC equipment operations/maintenance experience
- ECMS Experience
- Component level repair and soldering experience
- Ability to travel to OCONUS locations (<30 days) as requested
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Active security clearance and ability to maintain
- Ability to qualify for Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA)
Preferred Skills and Education - Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Discipline
- AV/VTC system design and installation experience
- Knowledge of Crestron/AMX/Extron products and technology solutions
- Crestron/AMX/Extron control system programming experience
- VOIP and IP networking experience
- Military Leadership Training
- Valid US tourist passport
