BioFortis' continued releases of its improved software are a key element in ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Many customers expect the latest release of our software. Testing our software is am important function in ensuring our software is released in a timely manner, and that it is of high quality. We have deferred the hiring of this testing manager for many months; continued operations without a testing manager may jeopardize our ability to timely release quality software.

This position is responsible for monitoring and testing software development.

Responsibilities

  • Write and execute test protocols
  • Write and execute automated acceptance tests using tools such as RSpec, Cucumber, and Capybara
  • Configure and maintain testing environments
  • Create and maintain sample datasets and tools to support testing
  • Communicate with Technology and Professional Services departments regarding identified issues data analysis

Experience

Typically requires a minimum of 3 - 5 years of prior relevant experience.

Knowledge

Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing , coaching and process execution.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
