We are now hiring a Senior Security Software Developer for our newly built Security Pod to work in all areas of our stack including our code written in Clojure and Go, for frontend and backend services of our application. You will also manage internal DevOps and Systems Admin tasks related to security in the development environment. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in development but also ability to build infrastructure to prove and test security of our code. You may also work with PostgreSQL - and we don’t hide SQL behind big frameworks - and many other popular technologies such as RabbitMQ, Zookeeper, ElasticSearch, Docker, and Kubernetes.

What You Will Be Doing

• Architecting, implementing, and testing security features across our stack (in a highly performant, stable, and robust to failure manner).
• Building and maintaining security-related infrastructure on AWS.
• Implementing and rolling out better security-related processes in our team.
• Helping fix vulnerabilities found in the code.
• Helping improve your and other’s code during code review.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated development experience with Clojure. Bonus if you already know Go.
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Testing methodologies.
• Java and the JVM.
• RESTful API use, implementation, or design.
• Demonstrated DevOps and/or Systems Admin experience, especially with AWS.
• Demonstrated experience working in security-related projects and interest in expanding your security knowledge.
