Who You'll Work With

You will work in the Atlanta, Boston, Chicago or Tampa office as a part of the Firm Service Professionals (FSP) recruiting team.Our FSP global recruitment team is dedicated to leading and delivering recruiting activities for all firm functions. With a focus on senior level roles, you’ll partner with function leaders to identify and hire diverse talent into a broad range of new and existing senior manager and director level positions across the globe.

What You'll Do

You’ll work closely with FSP function leaders to provide best in class recruitment support for senior roles firm wide. As part of team, you’ll work closely with hiring managers to define ‘what good looks like’ in terms of expertise and behaviors for a broad range of roles, and will use your subject matter expertise in talent acquisition to develop bespoke sourcing strategies that finds the best talent for McKinsey. You’ll set up and deliver best practice assessment processes and will have ownership of the entire process and the candidate experience through to offer. Throughout the recruitment journey you’ll collaborate and build strong relationships with stakeholders from hiring managers, to the People function (e.g. Talent Managers, Global Compensation, local HR teams) as well as with direct and indirect members of the team (Sourcing Recruiters, Recruiting Administrators). You will also build a high performing network of external search and recruiting partners to be leveraged when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Deep experience in full life-cycle recruitment of experienced/senior hires in a large, global corporate organization; preferably with a focus on enabling functions (e.g., finance, human resources)
  • Track record in direct sourcing for senior level positions through variety of channels (Boolean, networks, etc.)
  • Experience managing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships with measurable impact
  • Ability to work well independently, prioritize appropriately, and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a willingness to “get hands dirty” and play an active role in all aspects of candidate management process
  • Ability to communicate clearly with all audiences (e.g., leadership, clients, candidates)
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
  • History of building networks and being resourceful in seeking out best practices and support
  • Fluent user of standard business systems (e.g., Microsoft Suite), and candidate database systems
