What You’ll Do

As a natural leader, you will work closely with Cisco Account Teams and extended teams in crafting and delivering proposals to meet some of our top customer’s business and IT needs. You will actively develop relationships with our customers, key partners, facilitate client sessions, lead pre-sales efforts ensuring appropriate specialists are engaged, to deliver business growth with trusted expertise and value creation.

In this key role you will identify marketplace demands for Cisco’s portfolio offering of Business Critical Services (BCS) and collaborate with our Sales organization to support the sale of the BCS portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive active engagement with account teams in planning and executing client solutions and services sales strategy.
  • Define and communicate BCS portfolio positioning and value to target client segments and Cisco stakeholders.
  • Discover and align Client business & operational priorities to BCS portfolio outcomes and capabilities through consultative activities (e.g. business alignment workshops, ROI business case, service impact analysis).
  • Guide standalone and cross-architecture BCS quotes and proposals to clients with accurate deliverable scoping, sizing and pricing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups (sales, product management, operations, marketing) to develop BCS portfolio strategy, financial forecasts, offer packages and pricing, and client proposals.
  • Drive BCS bookings growth targets across renewals and new buying centers.
  • Enable Theater BDMs with focus on BCS and be the Ambassador for BCS 3.0
  • Moderate travel required.

The Technology and Transformation Group (TTG) is focused new technology and new offer incubation and enablement and focused on driving successful insertion of BCS across Cisco sales activities. We have the opportunity for visibility and interaction with senior management, cross-team collaboration, engage and drive matrix-managed projects which have direct impact to the services business within the EMEAR Region.

Who You Are

You are an analytical problem solver with a strong technology background, coupled with gravitas and interpersonal skills, compelled to help customers grow. You can lead diverse teams in multiple pre-sales engagements coordinating activities, driving efficient teamwork and effective governance, producing high quality proposals.

You are deeply organized, yet comfortable in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment. High energy, "roll-up your sleeves" attitude and dedication to success are imperative. You are able to balance multiple priorities across complex projects and convey complex concepts in the simplest of terms. You thrive dynamic in a diverse environment and you can work with a variety of critical priorities converting customer problems into Cisco delivery. You have experience collaborating across global teams and have program managed complex global initiatives. You have the ability to provide constructive coaching / feedback to all levels within the team and to your stakeholders as needed.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong client presence and CxO level engagement experience, consulting and/or delivery
  • Expertise in Service Design for integrated service solutions
  • Strong Project Management skills including planning, reporting, directing/coordinating the work of others
  • Work and lead in a multi-functional diverse matrix organization of experts
  • Experience in partnering/subcontracting professional services
  • Produce compelling proposals with associated Service Design, levels of effort, quotes and contracting documentation
  • Ability to consult and communicate effectively with excellent skills in writing compelling storylines, both in slide and text formats
  • Sales/solution development/business development role background
  • Strong knowledge across a broad variety of technology solutions such as Cloud, Security, IoT, Collaboration, Mobility, Enterprise Networking, Data Centre, Software etc.
  • Knowledge of the Cisco Professional and Support Services business
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in communicating and positioning Cisco’s BCS business and operational value and capabilities to Client Executive audience.
  • Proven record of growth in services engagements
  • Experience in Risk Assessment/Management desirable
  • You have an understanding of the Services business, internal processes across Services, as well as industry expertise along with a record of pursuing and leading services engagements of $2M+.
