Job Description
Looking for a Product Manager with 8-10 years of experience collaborating with cross functional teams and business preferably working for a large company, e-commerce preferred.
As a Product Manager you will operate as a business owner for your products to engage customers, set strategy, define a product roadmap, work with research and engineering to deliver and then guide the execution to realize the business impact. The role is highly cross-functional and requires a candidate that enjoys navigating ambiguity.
Successful candidates will enjoy diving deep into data, have outstanding analytical skills, excellent communication strategies and be confident with executive level reviews. You will thrive in a highly collaborative, creative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and are comfortable interacting with highly technical development teams.
Detailed Job Description: · Pitch product vision to executives to get early buy-in and feedback· Ability to provide consulting during the ideation phase to companies defining product vision and strategy· Ability to do market research and competitive analysis to suggest features for roadmap.· Participate in capital planning, determining ROI of features, building business case around it and presenting to execs· Navigate across teams, build consensus and support on long term strategy· Lead roadmap and execution. Ensure product roadmap aligns with business strategy· Gather and analyzes internal business requirements and translates technical requirements into detailed functional and non-functional user stories for development, testing and implementation· Run requirements handoff sessions with cross functional teams· Ability to translate technical needs to business value and create workflow and UML diagrams· Ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements (epics and stories)· Communicate with the business on behalf of engineering efforts and value propositions· Define and execute upon a product(s) roadmap(s)· Participate and assist in project prioritization· Write epics and user stories for product areas, including documenting both positive and negative user acceptance criteria· Create technical scope documentation to support epics/user stories· Documenting system calls (request/response, parameters etc.)· Work with cross functional teams to estimate requirements· Maintain and groom backlog of work for assigned product areas· Prioritize backlog, including defects, and define scope· Identify and document: Done statements, KPIs, Acceptance Criteria· Work with cross functional teams to create user interface wireframes, mockups and prototypes· Give product demonstrations and presentations to all areas of the business· Drive communication between business stakeholders and development team members· Create reports and monitoring as per the business or product need· Assists QA with functional test case scenario reviews as needed· Helps to anticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur· Ability to understand technical and business concepts quickly
Experience:· Experience with technical requirements specification and development, such as process/functional requirements definition methods, use case development, process flow diagrams.· Experience using analytical tools (Omniture, Google Analytics) and techniques to investigate information and to draw conclusions· Experience in creating user stories and run scrum board in JIRA (or other Agile tools)· Working knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies/practices· Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems· Experience working with knowledge & content management systems· Experience in Visio and MS Office Suite (including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint)· Experience in A/B testing a feature and building a plan for incremental rollout· Experience in identifying and defining KPIs for the product and able to measure them after production rollout· Experience of building Omni channel features preferably on Desktop and mobile (mobile web and native apps) is a huge plusBachelor’s degree or higher in CS/CE/IT/IS or other technical disciplines, Master’s degree highly preferred.
