Job summary

The Red Hat Training and Certification team is looking for a Technical Learning and Development Instructor to support our training deliveries across the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. In this role, you will develop and deliver training sessions for customers and partners. You will also assess learning needs and create learning plans for customer teams. Partner instructors will depend on your guidance and support. This role can be based anywhere in EMEA as long as Red Hat has an entity and there is a well-conected airport nearby.

Primary job responsibilities

• Deliver Red Hat Training classes
• Develop, prepare, and deliver custom workshops and webinars
• Assess learning needs and develop training plans for customers
• Perform and support upskilling activities for partner instructors

Required skills

• Ability to delivery high-quality training sessions both in person and virtually
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English; at least one additional European language
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Willingness to travel up to 70% to customer locations throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)
• 5+ years of industry experience and knowledge
• Additional technical certifications from Red Hat and third parties are a plus

The candidates must also meet at least one of the profiles below:

• Red Hat OpenShift - experience with application development or application modernization
• Cloud - automation, virtualization, and cloud technologies, e.g. Red Hat Ansible Automation, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat Virtualization, Open Vswitch, and OpenFlow, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Development - middleware and JEE, including enterprise web or middleware development project experience
