The Account Executive should be ready to take ownership of a range of tasks both analytical and business development, provide full support to the APAC regional team on the ground, enjoy working with and meeting new people, building relationships and be prepared to learn. To ensure success, this role requires an individual who can get into the detail and deliver to deadlines so that our local teams can focus on delivering new partnership growth. The Account Executive should be able to balance a range of conflicting priorities and enjoy working at a fast-pace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all reporting and day to day account management requirements for key accounts are met as well as delivering day to day support to the team in the region.
  • To ensure OKRs are met and exceeded predominantly through the optimisation of existing accounts and delivery of new accounts.
  • Provide a clear action plan, which includes account live date, contractual status, commercials, promotions, estimated volumes to the team on the ground.
  • Create and deliver polished and compelling presentations & business review documents for partners
  • Development of existing campaigns to ensure optimal ROI
  • Proactively engage with the team on the ground and liaise with the stakeholders in HQ to ensure all above are delivered
  • Monitor, research and report findings on market developments in the travel industry, and share with the team on ground

Key Skills/Attributes Required:

  • Ability to prioritise and organise a range of competing projects and tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Fluent in English. The ability to speak another language in the APAC region would be highly desirable
  • Business, marketing or other relevant (academic) degree
  • Some experience gained in an internet or online tourism environment very desirable
  • Creative, persistent and outgoing personality, eager to learn
  • Proactive, positive and self-motivated with ability to work without close supervision
  • Good analytical skills and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Strong communication, business, reporting and negotiation skills
  • Familiar with Far Eastern Cultures
