Quality Control Coordinator
2nd Shift Hours:
Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM

Quality minded and product focused. They will coordinate the quality activities on the production floor and provide useful data to the manufacturing teams.
The Quality Control Coordinator ensures all associates are aware of product standards and what they can do to ensure that our products meet our customers’ high expectations. This position reports to the Quality and Lean Operations Manager.
Responsibilities include :

  • Coordinate activities on the manufacturing floor as related to product quality standards
  • Analyze customer escapes and address nonconformance’s with production management
  • Collect, document, analyze, investigate, report, and maintain trend analysis of customer complaints associated with product quality
  • Develop tools for verifying product quality/adherence to standards and conduct awareness sessions with employees
  • Maintain and provide metrics to evaluate quality levels and produce concise reports to manager
  • Provide data for process improvement opportunities based on continued analysis and monitoring of process control indicators.
  • Follow-up on corrective action requests and assist in root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions
  • Conduct classroom and on-the-floor awareness sessions when nonconformities are discovered
  • Validate material and product changes
  • Conduct internal audits of work in process and finished product to verify manufacturing compliance to defined product standards.
  • Assist with testing, new product launches, and process audits
  • Validate material and process changes
  • Ensure relevant updates are made to the QMS (document control, calibration records, etc.)
  • Present quality metric data to management and manufacturing teams
  • Support all Lean activities within the sites (i.e. lean workshops, kaizens, standardized work)


Skills and Attributes Needed

  • Strong reporting and data analysis skills
  • Communicate efficiently with operators and production management
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, ability to multitask and set priorities.
  • Strong computer skills with MS Office and proprietary software
  • Flexibility to work alternative shifts as needed.


Experience and Qualifications

  • 2+ years previous experience in quality or statistical analysis
  • Hands-on experience with digital printing, lean manufacturing, and ISO 9001:2008.
