Your Opportunity

The Vice President, Regional Market Executive (RME) will lead a team of Branch Managers and their teams by providing sales, people, service and risk leadership. Working closely with their team, the RME will inspire a shared vision contributing to the success and growth of the entire branch network. The RME will be expected to successfully manage multiple, diverse geographies and to partner with managers to advance Schwab’s reputation and brand awareness.

The RME will act as a coach to a team ensuring appropriate focus on acquisition, retention, growth and staff development through motivation, performance management and employee engagement. Specifically, the RME will be held accountable for ensuring Corporate Net New Asset Flow, Net Asset Flow, Net Solutions Flow and Client Promoter Score goals are met or exceeded.

Leadership

Lead and inspire staff through effective communication, coaching, and creating a culture of success and trust.Serve as a member of the senior leadership team focused on execution, relationship building/maintenance and executing the strategy Deliver consistent execution of internal and external sales activities and strategies including design, implementation, training, communication and assessment of initiatives, contests, incentives in support of retail and organizational sales goals. This includes a focus on Financial Planning and Advisory Solutions to serve clients’ financial goals. Act as a proponent of change, championing and coaching through major corporate wide initiatives across the region and leading the region through the full change management process.Serve as a key leader in implementing Schwab’s strategy for affluent, advised and core client segment

Business Planning & Execution:

Leverage deep and broad understanding of the branch network as well as the external market to define a compelling plan for growth.Support the creation and execution of effective local business plans designed to deliver against Schwab’s strategic priorities and plans for accelerated growth. Define a compelling vision of the future and develop breakthrough ideas supporting the vision. Develops and presents sales “best practices” for retail division, function as liaison to other divisions to communicate retail sales mission, participate in cross divisional business referral activity.Support relationship and sales efforts for the region and manage critical business initiatives allowing Schwab to more effectively serve clients and sales professionals.

Risk Management

Manage compliance and risk in a manner consistent with the Board of Director’s expectations and establish and maintain a strong culture of compliance through policies, procedures, systems of supervision, actions and training.Remain current about competitor and industry activity, patterns and trends. Reviewing competition through research (advertisements, word-of-mouth, community activity and shopping the competition) to drive insights and decisions.

Market Leadership

Deliver on key performance metrics:

  • Net Asset Flow
  • Net Solutions Flow
  • Regional CPS
  • Net New Assets
  • Participate in special assignments and opportunities based on interests and area of expertise.

What you have

  • 10+ years’ of sales required in a financial services capacity
  • 10+ years' sales leadership experience required in a financial services capacity
  • Active and valid Series 7, 66 & 9/10 licenses. Series 24 preferred.
  • CFP/CFA/CIMA/AAMS designations preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
