The High Jewellery Specialist will maximize high potential sales through intensified clienteling efforts in the UK & Ireland markets. The role will be accountable for recruiting new high jewellery clients, championing CD100 by developing, implementing, monitoring and supporting initiatives that will develop active and lapsed customers as well as see the recruitment of new high potential clients in order to achieve overall sales targets and clienteling KPI’s.

Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management & Prospecting

  • Develop meaningful relationships and a deep understanding of the needs of existing customers
  • Actively prospect and recruit new High Jewellery clients for the business
  • Lead local, regional and Blue Book selling event strategies that will maximize high value sales within the market
  • Execute an outreach, gifting and unique event/experience strategy for all high potential clients

Leverage customer reports to further understand customer demographics, purchase trends and patterns in order to develop effective sales strategies

High Jewellery Local Ambassador

  • Support all local selling events and specialized client functions in conjunction with Market/Store management
  • Submit where required market level Statement Council requests

Direct involvement in all aspects of custom design orders including working directly with the High Jewellery Manager, store management and sales professionals and the associated client

Sales & Personal Development

  • Achieve and/or Exceed Individual Sales Plan:

Deepen the relationship with our customers to drive lifetime loyalty and spend.

  • Consistently achieve or exceed annual sales goal, with a particular focus on growing High Jewellery business, through effective partnership with Tiffany & Co. sales professionals and management
  • Ensure client development best practices and initiatives are consistently practiced within the market

Develop an expertise in diamonds and gemstones in order to further enhance storytelling opportunities

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years management experience with emphasis on direct customer contact within a high jewellery context
  • University degree or equivalent life/work experience.
  • Computer experience including Word, Excel, e-mail and Point of Sale systems.
  • Non-traditional business hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Self-starter, strategic thinker, problem solver.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diamond certificate (will be required on development plan in the first year if not present at hire).
  • Gemological background and education.
