Job summary

The Red Hat Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Global Alliance Partner (GAP) team is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join us in Munich, Germany. In this role, you will work closely with the EMEA GAP business development management (BDMs) to optimize renewal business as well as discover new business opportunities for our EMEA GAP team. You will identify, nurture, and close opportunities within these partnerships, working with the local and EMEA BDM teams. You will help manage forecasts on a weekly basis and track customer data. As an Inside Sales Account Representative, you will also work with internal and external partner teams to expand business and create solutions that serve the best interests of our customers and Red Hat.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Meet assigned EMEA sales quotas
  • Sell and understand Red Hat's solutions and services in the assigned GAPs, working in collaboration with partner account managers in the assigned region and throughout EMEA
  • Lead and support sales opportunities working directly with the teams in all EMEA regions
  • Proactively engage with customers, partners, and distributors on a daily basis
  • Help close, process, and track orders using Salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Manage forecasts and track customer data using standard, customer-relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Help manage a complex sales cycle from deal registration and requests for proposal (RFP), including any legal and finance sign offs, to closing
  • Ensure compliance, accuracy, and customer satisfaction through the sales cycle
  • Help improve GAP sales processes and tools
  • Help guide the GAP enablement activities and campaigns
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the GAP benefits, pricing, and existing agreements

Required skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
  • Understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospect to close
  • Solid customer-focused skills, ability to build long-term relationships with customers by establishing trust and credibility
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • 2+ years of proven sales quota attainment
  • 2+ years of solutions sales experience in software or high-technology offerings and solutions
  • Experience using CRM tools like SFDC
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
