Job summary

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Enterprise Sales Account Manager to join us in Hong Kong. In this role, you will play an essential part in building relationships with significant clients. You will ensure client satisfaction and identify new opportunities to increase sales. You’ll represent Red Hat and interact with major clients. As an Enterprise Sales Account Manager, you will need to have excellent communications skills and a customer service attitude. You’ll be responsible for achieving sales quota and strategic account targets.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Manage our key account portfolio
  • Achieve assigned strategic account objectives
  • Establish solid, long-term customer relationships
  • Communicate with major clients on a regular basis and respond to specific queries
  • Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs
  • Serve as the contact between key customers and internal teams
  • Identify and approach new potential strategic customers
  • Monitor sales performance metrics
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and forecasts

Required skills

  • 10+ years of experience working as a strategic account manager or key account manager
  • Solid sales experience in B2B environment
  • Practical experience with infrastructure and cloud-related software, middleware, integration software, and consulting services
  • Solid experience with creating and implementing account development planning
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Ability to address customer requests in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building solid client relationships
  • Solid negotiation skills and a problem-solving attitude
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • BSc degree in sales, business administration, or relevant field
