Responsibilities

Group Description

The Fixed Income Business Development Group is responsible for supporting the marketing and distribution of AB’s Fixed Income products and funds. The Group liaises with the global marketing, investment, client servicing, and product development teams on the retail, institutional and sub-advisory distribution channels.

The key job r esponsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The Product Manager will primarily interact with the Product analyst, Product Director, Senior Investment Strategists and other investment professionals focusing on business development activities of Fixed Income in the region. The Manager’s primarily responsibilities include preparation of marketing presentations/materials, sales trainings, responding to ad-hoc requests from our distribution teams, monitoring and analyzing the competitive positioning of AB’s Fixed Income product offerings as well as maintenance and creation of products’ fund flyers. While this position will focus most heavily on Taiwan, the Product Manager will also be responsible for efforts in the broader Asia Pacific ex-Japan region, both directly and through collaboration with colleagues based around the world.

Preparing and updating marketing presentations, write-ups and commentary, training documents and other materials to support product and platform messaging and facilitate the promotion and sales of AllianceBernstein’s Fixed Income products

Creating content for sales ideas and to explain portfolio positioning and impact of market events.

Providing internal training on fixed income products and

Researching and preparing responses to ad-hoc requests from client-facing personnel and senior investment professionals

Monitoring and analyzing the competitive positioning of the firm’s Fixed Income products and broad industry/market trends; preparing detailed competitive analysis

Participating in the product development and rationalization process

Work with Analyst, Product Director and SISs to offer consistent insight on market trends and sales opportunities

Work with internal departments both in Taiwan (AB Taiwan) and overseas offices to obtain the necessary data and information for report production, some regular reporting and ad-doc requests and RFP/RFIs related to the respective product line

Qualifications

Strong abilities in reading/writing/speaking English and Chinese

Ability to write original content to explain product positioning and market events

6+ years of financial experience. Experience in asset management industry is preferred.

Degree holder and above. CFA preferred but not mandatory

Ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment, and works well under pressure

Possesses strong organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills

Knowledge of Fixed Income markets is a plus

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, knowing to use Morningstar/Lipper and Bloomberg are preferred.
