PULSE is the debit arm of the Payments Division of Discover Financial Services. PULSE’s Marketing Programs team has a Sales Enablement team that supports the Sales and Account Management teams throughout the entire sales cycle and lifecycle of clients. The Sales Enablement team manages lead generation and sales funnel conversion processes and then supports the Sales team through to contract close. From onboarding to renewal, the Sales Enablement team provides the Relationship Managers with timely, client-focused insights and content to drive client satisfaction. The Sales Enablement Specialist will act as the go-to person for the Sales and Account Management Directors to identify, gain consensus on, and implement improvements to our sales and account management support models.

The Sales Enablement Specialist will support leadership by developing, maintaining, delivering and measuring the impact of marketing assets to serve clients throughout the sales cycle and life-cycle of each client. He/she will collaborate with the Sales, Marketing and Product teams to improve the impact and value of sales assets and content journeys for both internal and external stakeholders around product solutions and industry trends. He/she will also manage many facets of the design and usage of our single repository of marketing assets, content management platform and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain marketing resources to provide sales support for management and relationship managers.
  • Manages the department’s sales cycle and life-cycle content and associated reporting.
  • Manages business review processes including research and design materials.
  • Partners with the business to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
  • Ensures the adherence to policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Operations, Sales Enablement, Project Management or related field
  • In lieu of degree, 8+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Operations, Sales Enablement, Project Management or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Operations, Sales Enablement, Project Management or related field
  • Prior experience supporting a B2B sales team/sales enablement experience in a debit environment
  • Strong communication/presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of content delivery and use of content management platforms
  • Strong understanding of the concept of sales enablement
  • Strong debit experience/knowledge
