Your Role and Responsibilities The Operations Manager is the trusted advisor to our transformation leader. This is a fantastic opportunity to understand basic business principles for an IT business. The Operations Manager will be responsible for a budget and work closely with a global leadership team to balance resources, infrastructure, and software spending while delivering outcomes that realize value to the business.
Additionally, the Operations Manager will manage personnel and asset resource data for the subdomain’s portfolio. This role can be extended to manage security and risks associated with the portfolio, track agile principle metrics and attainment, and other related operational processes. In this role, you will also be part of a passionate team of operational managers around the organization who discuss, manage, and optimize assets in a standard way.
Main duties and responsibilities will include the following: • Expense forecasting;
• Management of resource data, both technical and personnel;
• Month-end close activities including variance analysis;
• Annual budget planning;
• Participation in systems, processes and reports improvement to drive organizational operations efficiency;
• Cost-reduction analysis and metrics in all areas of the business;
• Drive automation of processes (e.g. for budget forecasting)
Required Technical and Professional Expertise - Technical Operations Management - 1+ yrs exp
- Project Management – 1 + yrs exp
- Financial Management – 1 + yrs exp
- MS Office and Excel – 1 yrs exp
- Modern Project Tracking Tools (Trello, JIRA, HP Quality Center, etc.) 1+ yrs exp
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Good Communication Skills
- Passion for Learning
