A Clinical Support Specialist has interaction and communication with orthodontists and general dentists, and treatment coordinators related to case specific issues, ClinCheck quality and troubleshooting. Focus will be on clinical support as well as troubleshooting clinical issues for customers in order to give them Clinical Confidence to use Invisalign.
Responsibilities for a Clinical Support Specialist fall in four broad categories but may not be limited to:
1. Training of customers (doctors) and/or speaking in clinical settings on behalf of the company,
2. Clinical Support to customers and/or oversight of clinical support to customers,
3. Contribute/review clinical content of doctor education/marketing materials and internal clinical education materials.
4. Represents Korea clinical and work with regional clinical lead to provide feedback to Management
Essential duties and responsibilities
A Clinical Support Specialist manage day to day tasks within Clinical Care department. You oversee development of content of clinical training and reference materials. You manage content, process, and message of Clinical Customer Support and liaise and training with Costa Rica. In this role you give Clinical Training (internal) – Establish and oversee internal clinical education (to Align employees), in particular Sales and Clinical Customer Support. You act as the liaison for key research personnel at Align Research Partner Institutions. You represent Align clinical research at academic and professional Align events. As a Clinical Support Specialist you provide clinical guidance to team members related to research project. Work with KOLs in the development of publications that can be used as case studies. You administer clinical studies and act as the marketing liaison. A Clinical Support Specialist ensure adequate coverage and availability of resources and ensure ownership, action to resolution, back up and contingency within the team. You manage departmental procedures to obtain 100% accuracy and completeness in all areas. You continuously identify and drive improvement initiatives through people, process & systems/tools. And you participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal, listening and persuasive communication skills with an ability to craft a compelling message and tailor it for a given audience. You have strong critical-thinking abilities to analyze business problems and situations and target specific needs of customers. And you have the demonstrated ability to take initiative to creatively solve problems in a timely fashion, make decisions independently and implement changes quickly and effectively. You will also provide support to audit processes and quality management system as required.
