Role Summary:

AiRXOS is looking for an innovative and entrepreneurially minded sales leader to lead and execute our North American go-to-market activities for Enterprise and/or Government (State and Fed) agencies. This executive must be able to define, develop and execute a plan that delivers on the company’s sales and market development goals. This role will have high visibility both internally and externally, with the opportunity to establish world-class sales operations as the organization grows.


Essential Responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for strategic sales and business development leadership, planning, and managerial oversight of AiRXOS’ region/target vertical sales. You will actively participate in the sales leadership team, providing strategic insights and updates on the progress of your goals. You will ensure customer feedback from the field on product and service offerings is systematically gathered and reported to guarantee that up-to-date understanding of customer needs and the needs of the broader marketplace informs our future product development. Our overarching goal is to develop and provide unprecedented solutions that enable the future of drone flight operations and airspace management. More importantly, your role is to achieve/exceed Bookings and Revenue Recognition goals.

Specifically, you will:

  • Partner with Head of Global Sales and Sales Leadership Team to create the vision and strategic direction for your Region/Vertical.
  • Generate a robust and qualified opportunity pipeline to achieve/exceed bookings and revenue targets.
  • Partner with sales team and organization to ensure revenue and bookings targets are achieved including customer acquisition and customer retention.
  • Manage strategic metrics that accurately measure your key activities and performance compared to target, which results in consistent revenue growth.
  • Ensure all metrics are tracked within Salesforce so that accurate reports can be pulled and accurate customer data is available. Accurate Forecasts are a requirement.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product Management, and other GE entities, to retain and grow and acquire new customers.
  • Partner with Head of Global Sales, Human Resources and Organizational Development for professional development for high performance and long-term career growth.
  • Actively participate as a member of the Sales Leadership Team, providing regular and relevant sales updates on sales progress to plan.

  • Qualifications/Requirements:

  • BA in Business Administration or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years senior level experience with a minimum of 10+ years executive level experience in selling complex, emerging market solutions to Enterprises and/or Government (State and Fed) Agencies
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement/over achievement year over year
  • Proven track record of accurate booking and revenue recognition forecasting

  • Desired Characteristics:

  • Demonstrated ability to be part of and contribute to a high-performance cross-functional sales and business development team
  • Work as individual contributor with collaboration with team members and Head of Global Sales
  • Proven track record of partnering successfully with Marketing, Product Management and Engineering to ensure new products are aligned with customer needs to positively impact revenue goals
  • Successful experience entering new and emerging markets, building and managing a territory with new and emerging technologies.
  • A deep understanding of new technology development in highly regulated markets (Fed and State)
  • A strong sense of urgency and ability to think on your feet
  • Superior problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Successful experience utilizing a CRM to manage sales tasks, pipeline, forecasting and closing deals
